DESCRIPTION: Bolwarra Beauty is a wonderful addition in any garden with lustrous deep green foliage that turns coppery in colour during the winter months. During late sprint and cummer, it produces beautiful creamy white flowers that most notably fill the sir with an exotic perfume reminiscent of tropical fruit salad.
USES: It is an evergreen plant that can be used an an informal hedge, screening background or filler under and around taller plants and trees.
POSITION: Bolwarra Beauty is tolerant of a range of positions from part shade to full sun but will perform best if given a more sheltered position that is away from hot west facint walls. New foliage can be moderately sensitive to frost in more exposed situations when the plant is young.
PLANTING GUIDE: Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container, remove plant from container and place into the hold so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water in well even if the soil is moist.
CARE: Responds well to pruning with much new growth occurring from low down in the plant. Benefits from mulching and some summer watering.
